The Sower Reading Program expands Operation Sower’s commitment to education by placing books into the hands of children, youth, and families across the Northern Region of Uganda. Many communities have limited access to storybooks, learning materials, or age‑appropriate reading resources. This program responds to that need by equipping schools and households with books that nurture imagination, build literacy, and open doors to lifelong learning.
Rooted in Operation Sower’s mission to cultivate hope and opportunity, the Sower Reading Program helps ensure that every child has the chance to explore new ideas, discover their voice, and dream beyond the limits of their environment. When stories take root, futures begin to flourish.
