OUR HISTORY
Operation Sower was founded by Herbert Alston to equip communities in the Northern Region of Uganda with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities needed to break cycles of poverty. Our founder saw that lasting change would never come from temporary relief alone—it required equipping people with practical skills, sustainable systems, and the dignity of self‑reliance needed for lasting transformation.
